Pentax SP 500 + Pentacon

A while ago I bought a Praktica camera in amazing condition but unfortunately it broke before I even put the film inside. The camera came with a F1.8 Pentacon lens in almost mint condition.
Besides being cheap, I've always heard about the good results these lens are able to produce so I decided to mount in another body which by the way is the first time I'm using as well, the Pentax SP 500.
The results proves that it can be an excellent option for those looking for a cheap lens but still expect some decent results. I particularly like the range of tones in some shots and since this lens is relatively cheap, I'd probably leave in my bag without any worry that it would get damaged.

  1. I am so glad I stumbled upon your blog. Your work is amazing and I have a set of photography paint from the 1950's that I still use. I found it in my parents attic and I am sure the fumes are deadly but it works well.
